What has consumed all of my free time for 3 months...

This is the bed that I made for Sarah and I as a wedding gift. I had no idea what I was doing when I started out, and so I was quite excited that it turned out as it did!

Beautiful work, but the whole dungeonesque theme of the bedroom could be a bit of a turnoff.

I agree, I mean, i've seen women with perfume on their dressers, but not sure about cleaner, stainer, and bleech. Hope that pipe doesn't drip on your head.

I'm very impressed, my Big bro. I like the finish. Oops, I think she wanted a king size. Can you redo it, but just make it a little smaller?

By the way, did you hand carve the detail on the headboard?

Dang, yo! I am simultaneously challenged and inspired. What better wedding gift can there be than something with effort, artistry, and affection all poured in to the brim? And functional too!
